SANY SCC9000A-1
900 Tonne Class Hydraulic Crawler Crane
The SCC9000A-1 is the newest heavy-lift asset in the Narayani Associates fleet — a 900 tonne class SANY crawler crane built for wind turbine erection, refinery and power plant construction, and other super-heavy lifts. We own it, we maintain it, we crew it, and we deploy it on our own projects as well as on client sites across India.
A 900 Tonne Machine, Under Our Own Flag
Heavy lifting is the bottleneck on almost every large project. Wind farms wait on a crane that can reach hub height. Refineries wait on a crane that can hold rated load out at radius. Narayani Associates removed that dependency by adding the SANY SCC9000A-1 to its own fleet.
With a 13,800 t·m load moment, up to 168 m of main boom and a luffing jib reaching 96 m, this machine covers the lifts that a 300–500 T class crawler simply cannot take on. It works on our own EPC sites, and it is available to clients on rental or turnkey heavy-lift contracts — with our operators, riggers and lift engineers included.
Asset of Narayani Associates. Owned, maintained and crewed in-house — so scheduling, safety and accountability sit with a single team.

Technical Specifications
Key data for the SCC9000A-1. Rated capacity at any given radius depends on the boom, jib and counterweight configuration — we confirm every lift against the certified load chart.
Specifications are indicative and follow the manufacturer's published data. Actual machine configuration is governed by the applicable load chart and contract.
Boom & Jib Configurations
Four working setups, selected per lift to match height, radius and site access.
Main Boom
Up to 168 m of lattice main boom for maximum hook height on tall structures — chimneys, silos, wind towers and plant columns.
Main Boom + Fixed Jib
168 m boom with a 12 m fixed jib, for extra headroom and reach over obstructions without a full luffing setup.
Main Boom + Luffing Jib
99 m boom with up to 96 m luffing jib — the configuration for placing heavy loads deep inside congested refinery and power plant layouts.
Superlift Configuration
Carbody, rear and superlift counterweights combine to hold rated capacity out at long working radius, where a standard setup would derate sharply.
Machine Features
Why this machine performs where it matters — capacity, safety, setup time and uptime.
High Performance
A 13,800 t·m load moment and 900 t peak capacity put the SCC9000A-1 in the super-heavy class — single-crane lifts that would otherwise need a tandem operation.
Integrated Safety Systems
Load moment limiter, anti two-block, boom angle and wind speed monitoring, and real-time load display keep every lift inside the certified chart.
Fast Assembly & Dismantling
Lower structure jack cylinders, crawler self-assembly cylinders on the boom hoist mast, a portable hydraulic power pack and a quick connector ring between super and lower structure cut rig-up time on site.
Transport-Friendly Modularity
The machine breaks down into road-legal modules — crawlers, carbody, boom sections and counterweight slabs — so mobilisation between project sites stays practical.
Operator Comfort
Tilting, fully glazed cab with ergonomic controls, climate control and clear sightlines to the load — critical on multi-hour wind turbine erections.
Remote Monitoring
On-board telematics report engine health, working hours and fault codes, so our maintenance team schedules service before a breakdown costs the client a lift window.
Where We Deploy It
Sectors where the SCC9000A-1 earns its place on site.
Wind Turbine Erection
Nacelle, hub and blade lifting at hub heights well beyond the reach of medium crawlers — our primary use for this machine.
Power & Thermal Plants
Boiler drums, turbine casings, condensers, ESP and chimney internals.
Refinery & Petrochemical
Reactor, column and vessel erection inside live and greenfield plants.
Bridges, Metro & Infra
Segment, girder and launching gantry lifts on metro and highway corridors.
Steel & Cement Plants
Heavy structural erection, mill housings, kiln and preheater components.
Ports & Offshore Support
Module handling, port equipment assembly and heavy yard lifts.
Services We Provide With It
The crane is one part of the scope. We deliver the plan, the crew and the execution around it.
Crane Rental with Operator
Monthly, project or per-lift hire of the SCC9000A-1 with certified operators, riggers and a lift supervisor included.
Lift Planning & Method Statements
Load charts, radius studies, ground bearing pressure calculations, crane position drawings and approved method statements before the crane rolls in.
Mobilisation & Site Setup
Transport of all modules, crane pad and access road requirements, assembly, load testing and commissioning at your site.
Skilled Crew Supply
Operators, riggers, signal men, banksmen and HSE supervisors — the same trained workforce we deploy across our EPC projects.
Maintenance & Support
In-house maintenance team, genuine SANY spares and preventive servicing so uptime stays on the project side of the schedule.
Turnkey Heavy Lift Contracts
End-to-end scope — planning, crane, crew, rigging gear and execution — handed over as a single accountable contract.
From Enquiry to Lift
Our deployment process for every heavy-lift mobilisation.
Enquiry & Load Data
Share load weight, dimensions, lift height, radius and site location. Our team reviews feasibility the same day.
Lift Study & Chart Check
We select the boom/jib/counterweight configuration, verify it against the certified load chart and issue a lift plan.
Site Survey & Ground Prep
Access route, crane pad, ground bearing pressure and clearance survey, with soil improvement or matting recommendations.
Mobilisation & Assembly
Modules transported, crane assembled, rigged, load tested and cleared by our HSE team.
Execution
Lift carried out under a dedicated supervisor with toolbox talks, permits and continuous load monitoring.
Demobilisation
Dismantling, site restoration and handover documentation, including lift records and test certificates.
Why Lift With Narayani Associates
Owned Asset, Not Brokered
The SCC9000A-1 sits on our own balance sheet. No third-party availability risk, no broker margin, no surprise substitution of a smaller machine.
EPC Experience Behind the Hook
We do not only rent cranes — we execute wind, solar, metro and infrastructure projects. The lift plan comes from people who have built the structure.
Safety-First Execution
Documented lift plans, certified rigging gear, trained crew and zero-compromise HSE practice on every mobilisation.
Reliable Availability
Preventive maintenance and in-house spares support keep the machine ready when your erection window opens.
